Western U.S. Pre-Oireachtas Championship Feis Rules

The McBride School of Irish Dance is a member of:

• An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha
• Irish Dance Teachers’ Association of North America
• Western U.S. Region Irish Dance Teachers’ Association

And the Western U.S. Pre-Oireachtas Championship Feis is registered with:

• North American Feis Commission

As such, the feis will be subject to rules of the prevailing authority, and the feis committee would like to kindly remind all teachers, dancers, and parents that the following rules will be actively enforced throughout the feis:

• No flash photography or videography while competitions are commencing.
• Dancers must be in full traditional Irish dance costume (with dresses zipped) when taking the stage for performances and accepting awards that are presented on stage.

If you are in doubt of what “traditional” Irish dance costume is, please contact your teacher.
