THE TEAM
With their combined experience and passion for teaching, Ann McBride, A.D.C.R.G., Eileen McBride-Parker, T.C.R.G., and Aindreea Parker take great pride in passing on their love for Irish Dance and Culture to their Dancers.
Ann McBride, ADCRGAnn McBride began dancing at a young age under the tutelage of Peggy O'Neill in Glasgow, Scotland. After immigrating to the United States, Ann continued her dancing with Maureen McTeggert Hall, and the McTeggert School. Maureen trained and encouraged Ann to pursue her TCRG and ADCRG credentials, which she received in 1967 and 1975, respectively. Annie has also been awarded certification by An Coimisuin as a Grade Examiner (BG), and is a well known Adjudicator who is sought after to judge locally, nationally and internationally. Annie has also served as Vice President of the Western U.S. Region Council.
Annie founded the McBride School in 1967, and the school has been going strong ever since. She has been training dancers in all levels of dancing, from brand new beginners to World Qualifying champions for over 50 years. In addition, Annie has trained many new TCRGs, including her own daughter, Eileen McBride Parker. |
Eileen McBride - Parker, TCRGEileen McBride-Parker began her dancing career at the age of 4, and continued to dance competitively until she sat for, and received, her TCRG acreditation in 1997. Since then, Eileen has been a Co-Director of the McBride school of Irish Dance, and, along with Annie McBride, she instructs the McBride championship dancers and teams.
Eileen truly enjoys teaching her students, and finds their dedication, drive and dancing achievements very rewarding. Under Eileen's instruction, the McBride School has had many dancers successfully compete in the Western Region Oireachtas, the North American Irish Dance Championships, the All-Irelands, and World Irish Dance Championships. Whether they are entertaining or competing, Eileen is very proud that her students always give 110% each and every time they step out on the stage to dance. |
