The McBride School of Irish Dance and the 2021 East Bay Feis Committee are pleased to offer the 2021 East Bay Feis online this year. Due to COVID Restrictions in the Northern California, East Bay Region, it has become necessary to move the East Bay Feis Online. We are Pleased to offer a Full Syllabus, including the following:
- Open and Preliminary Championships with three (3) complete rounds and dances (light, heavy and set) in preparation for the 2021 WRO!
- Team Dancing Competitions in preparation for the 2021 WRO!
- Awards will be provided to Teachers or mailed to Participants/Teachers!
- New opinions and lots of written comments from our OUT OF REGION Adjudicators, including Rebecca Corr, ADCRG, Belfast, Northern Ireland, and David Moore, ACDRG, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland and Gavin Doherty, ADCRG, Belfast, Northern Ireland. New adjudicators will be added as entries necessitate.
- Music provided by Chris McLoughlin! If you don't find your set and/or speed please use the Google Doc form link below to request your set and speed.
- Adult Championship Special!!
- Full Grade Competitions with age groupings of no more than 2 years (i.e., U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and 15/O). If less than 5 videos are uploaded for any competition, it may be combined with the next highest age group.
- Second Chance Competitions are now being offered. Please review the Revised Syllabus for all the rules and policies for entering Second Chance Competitions!
- Registration and tabulation will be through QuickFeis ( www.QuickFeis.com ). Registration is NOW OPEN and the deadline to enter is October 21, 2021.
- Judging will be October 29 - 31, 2021. All videos should be uploaded to Quickfeis between October 23 - 26, 2021.
- The 2021 Online East Bay Feis is ONLY OPEN to dancers in the Western Region.
- Please thoroughly review the Revised Syllabus, found below, at QuickFeis and the East Bay Feis websites.
